Ecuador is the second smallest country
in South America and has so much natural diversity that its
unreal. The country is so small that visitors can travel from
the Amazon Basin to the glaciated Andean Volcanoes, then head
down to the tropical cloud forest and right into the sunset for
a relaxing dinner of ceviche on the Pacific coast and it can all
be done in one day. The weather is so unpredictable with one day
being so cold and wearing sweaters to the next day being so hot
that you are sweating while watching howling monkeys in the
jungle. Nature lovers think Ecuador is a dream with the exotic
orchids and birds, the jungle plants, insects, tropical forests,
and animals and creatures of all kind. Ecuador is also a dream
for the adrenaline junky who like to go mountaineering and
trekking. There is also horseback riding and surfing for them as
well.
Ecuador's heritage is indigenous, with the
traditional costumes and street markets. There are beautiful cities
that sit on top of Cuenca and Quito which are both on the UNESCO
World Heritage Sites. Ecuador's history is told through its street
signs. With just one journey around Quito for a day, it will tell
you a lot about the history for the small country. Starting at
Avenida de Los Shyris which is named after the pre Inca tribe from
the northern highlands to the Mariscal Sucre neighborhood which was
Ecuador's greatest independence hero. The stroll through the town
will give a great historian lesson for anyone who is interested with
Ecuador's culture. Due to the country's undying love for one of
Latin America's greatest independence heroes around there is a Plaza
Simon Bolivar in almost every town. Most of Ecuador's people live in
the highlands and the Oriente. If visitors want to really learn
about Ecuador's human history then the coast is the place to start.
Ecuador is said to be a place to go year round,
there are only two real seasons there which consist of the rainy
season and the dry season. The region of Ecuador consist of the
Andes, the Pacific coast, the Oriente and the Galapagos. The dry
season starts in June and runs through until the end of September.
The wet season is usually between January until May. Each region of
the country is a little bit different with their weather and the
best beach weather sees sunny days with rain in the afternoon.
According to ecologists, Ecuador is one of the world's "mega
diversity hotspots". Ecuador is also one of the most
species-rich countries on the planet and part of that is due to it
being a tropical country which has better habitats for the
creatures.

a great break from all of the churches that are located in the same
area. This museum is located between Sucre and Bolivar which is also
known as the Old Town. This museum gives visitors a chance to see
what it would be like to live in a 19th century Spanish style
mansion in Old Town. Right after entering the house visitors will
find themselves standing in a beautiful courtyard. There hasn't been
much that has changed since Dona Maria Augusta Urrutia has lived
there. This means that most of the things visitors see here are
about the same thing that the pope and many other world leaders saw
when they visited the home as well. The house is very modern with a
full bathroom and modern kitchen appliances, there is a cold storage
room, a wood burning stove, and the oldest grain masher in Ecuador.
There are murals on the walls and hand painted wallpaper. this is
truly an amazing house with great style.

stimulate, to direct, and to coordinate the development of a
significant national culture. In the war of Ecuadorian-Peruvian,
Ecuador was defeated in 1941 which meant Ecuador lost part of its
territory to Peru. This house of Ecuadorian Culture is said to be
like a true home of the nations culture. This would help Ecuador do
what wars never could which is guide the country to embrace the
expressions of inspiration and art would become the nations pride.
